Christian Calhoun

Elder

Christian is a native Californian and grew up in Redding California. After high school, Christian attended CalPoly in San Luis Obispo and graduated with a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology. He moved to the Bay Area after college where he met his wife Michele. They have two adult children ages 21 and 18. 

Christian came to faith as a young boy attending Trinity Lutheran Church but it wasn’t until his adult life that he truly accepted Jesus into his heart. Soon after, the Lord led him and his family to Garden City church, where they have been part of the church family for the past 13 years. 

Over the years, Christian has enjoyed serving in kids ministry, leading life groups, serving on the hospitality team and now the elder board.

Christian enjoys studying scripture and has a heart for meeting people where they are at and sharing the good news of the gospel. In his spare time you can find him running, hiking, camping and enjoying almost anything outdoors. If it’s outside, he’s in!
